The Picker House is a distinguished example of late modernist architecture purposefully designed to showcase an exceptional collection of modern and contemporary art in a luxury private residence that encapsulates the cosmopolitan lifestyle of its owner, Stanley Picker. 

We love sharing the house and all its treasures with new people and the has trust provided fully guided tours for small groups for over thirty years and we are thrilled to continue to do so.

Tours last approximately 2 hours and encompass the entire house, garden and pavilion gallery. One of our longstanding guides will lead you on a ‘narrative’ tour which encompasses the history and design of the house, the art collection and the man himself, Stanley Picker. 

Tickets cost £20 per person

NOTE: The house sits on the side of a hill and is split level; there is no lift or ramp access.  For visitors with limited mobility or mobility aid users it is therefore regrettable that no access can be given beyond the entrance level of the house. There are no special facilities on site. 

Further, the trust acknowledges that the house is not suitable for youngsters under the age of 12, this is partially a safety issue (for very small children), and also, due to the explicit nature of some of the artworks. Please direct your questions regarding this to the trust manager during your booking process.
