We love sharing the house and all its treasures with new people - the has trust provided fully guided tours for small groups for over thirty years and we are thrilled to continue to do so. The tours last approximately 2 hours, encompass the entire house, garden and pavilion gallery and have an upper limit of 12 visitors per tour group.

The tours cost £16 per person, with discounts offered for whole tour (group) bookings as well as for young people and students.

2025 season runs between April 16th and October 25th - ‘Early Bird Booking’ for 2026 season will begin at the end of August.

The trustees are happy to announce that once per month the custodians of the Picker House will run a guided weekend tour of the house offering a joyful and loving exploration of the house and collection.

The house sits on the side of a hill and is split level; there is no lift or ramp access.  For visitors with limited mobility or mobility aid users it is therefore regrettable that no access can be given beyond the entrance level of the house. There are no special facilities on site. 

Further, the trust acknowledges that the house is not suitable for youngsters under the age of 12, this is partially a safety issue (for very small children), and also, due to the explicit nature of some of the artworks. Please direct your questions regarding this to the trust manager during your booking process.
